GPC Protection Alert - Civilians Face Extreme Protection Risks in Kordofan Region, Sudan
The GPC is issuing this Protection Alert given the marked worsening of the violence faced by people in the Kordofan region of Sudan. Detailed information about specific incidents remains difficult to confirm; however, given available reports from Sudan Protection Cluster partners and allies on serious protection risks and violations in North and South Kordofan, this Alert seeks to draw attention to and mobilize action in support of the protection of civilians in these areas.
