The Global Protection Cluster Annual Report presents the work carried out by the GPC in 2024 to protect and improve the lives of tens of millions of people in need of protection. As we face significant challenges at the outset of 2025, this Annual Report provides an opportunity to reflect on our achievements and the challenges we face, to recognize the strength of our network, and identify areas where we can improve.
It marks the conclusion of our current Strategic Framework, which has guided the work of the GPC and its partners over the past five years in responding to life-threatening crises across our 32 operations. The report highlights the year’s achievements, including key GPC Operations Cell, Areas of Responsibility, and Task Team and Working Group activities.
