Sudan Protection Cluster - 2024 MSNA dashboard

The data for this assessment was collected by DTM, and analysis was supported by REACH, with OCHA coordinating the process.

Data collected between June and August 2024, covering 22.6K households across 166 localities The female-to-male response ratio was 3:7.

This MSNA focused on capturing insights from diverse population groups, including IDPs in siteshost communities, and others, to provide a representative understanding of key protection-related needs and trends.

This dashboard is an essential resource for visualizing protection trends and understanding the realities on the ground. The information it provides aims to support you in:

  • Planning for 2025: Ensuring that our interventions are data-driven and responsive to identified needs.
  • Identifying Priorities: Highlighting critical gaps in protection services for effective response and advocacy.
  • Informing Advocacy Efforts: Strengthening the case for mobilizing resources to address emerging protection challenges.

The dashboard was prepared collaboratively by the Sudan Protection Cluster, with input and coordination from OCHAREACH/DTMDRC, and UNHCR. It is our hope that this tool will provide the insights you need to enhance protection programming and decision-making as we move into the new year.
