GPC Statement on Protection of Civilians in Sudan

The political crisis unfolding in Sudan will have severe human costs for millions of conflict-affected and displaced people across the country if leaders do not uphold their duty to protect civilians. There is an urgent need to ensure the continued delivery of humanitarian aid and a sustained commitment to the rights and wellbeing of civilians at a time of increased insecurity.
