Lisa started working with the GPC in February 2024. She has fifteen years’ experience of working in emergency and protected crisis. She is returning to coordination support having worked for 5 years previously as the protection cluster co-coordinator in South Sudan (2013-2015) and the Whole of Syria protection co-coordinator (2015-2017). 

Josep joined the GPC in February 2024. He brings more than 20 years of field and global level experience in Protection, working in different protection positions, both at field and country level, including internal displacement operations. Josep has worked in Albania, Kosovo, Guatemala, Colombia, Ecuador, Greece and Mexico, where he has led protection sectors and working groups. Josep has worked with UNHCR, UN Peace Mission and with civil society organizations.
