Martina Caterina
Martina is a human rights and humanitarian protection specialist, who has worked on internal displacement for over 15 years. Before joining UNHCR’s Policy and Legal Advice Service in 2018, where she is the agency’s focal point on IDP law & policy, she was the Senior Legal Adviser to the Special Rapporteur on the human rights of IDPs for five years. Previously, she acted as Regional Analyst for East Africa and Yemen with NRC’s Internal Displacement Monitoring Centre (IDMC), and more recently as Durable Solutions Project Coordinator with JIPS.
