Kate joined the GPC in November 2024. She has a master’s degree in International Development, with a dissertation focusing on behaviour-change and access to WASH among IDPs. This research was conducted in collaboration with the INGO Concern Worldwide. She has spent time working with Samos Volunteers, a grassroots organisation providing aid distribution and support to refugees and asylum-seekers living in the CCAC on Samos Island. Prior to this, Kate worked as a doctor in Ireland for six years. She holds a degree in Medicine, Surgery, and Obstetrics, as well as a master’s degree in Surgery, with studies on the provision of surgical healthcare in humanitarian settings.
