GPC Interagency Field Support

The GPC support team provides services to Protection Cluster coordination teams on protection and coordination queries. 

Users can submit their requests and receive a response within 24 hours during weekdays. It offers support in any area related to protection coordination, information management, advocacy and analysis, and thematic areas.

It offers guidance, common resources such as tools, examples, peer-to-peer exchange, and country/context specific advice. The GPC ability to provide relevant and quality feedback to coordination teams is supported by the expertise of the GPC protection partners.

GPC Country Focal Points

The GPC Country Focal Points directly support regional and country level capacity of cluster coordination teams, and engage with our relevant interagency counterparts. They support the system-wide coordination for protection and collaborate with protection partners to support country level operations and strategy. 

They facilitate peer-to-peer collaboration between country level focal points, and monitor specific trends and operational dynamics in their area of operation.
