The Protection Cluster in South Sudan, in collaboration with USAID's Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning department, the Association for Media Development, and the Union of Journalists in South Sudan, organised a 2-day media training for over 20 reporters and numerous editors from diverse regions across the country to explore ethical practices on reporting protection issues.

With a core objective of equipping media practitioners with knowledge in the four Areas of Responsibility of the Protection Cluster, the workshop sought to empower media professionals working in a rapidly evolving landscape to address topics such as Gender-Based Violence, Child Protection, Mine Action, and Housing, Land, and Property.
