Protection Risks Severity Criteria

The Protection Risk Severity Criteria have been developed by the GPC and the Global AoRs to guide the joined-up prioritization of protection risks. The tool provides a general set of severity criteria for each phase, and a detailed set of severity criteria for each of the 15 protection risks. The criteria do not provide specific metrics to calculate severity but are meant to guide the convergence of evidence at country level. It provides a suggestion of 5 variables that can be further expanded and use to develop country-specific metrics. The severity criteria are revised on yearly basis by the GPC and the Global AoRs.
