PC SSD Monthly Update - November 2023
In November 2023, Protection Cluster members in South Sudan provided 274K protection services to vulnerable displaced, returning, and resident communities, bringing the yearly total to 2.8M. During the period, 8 UN agencies, 12 international and 29 national NGOs were active in all states of South Sudan covering 80% of counties.
In November 2023, the PC reviewed 135 partner’s project proposals for the 2024 HNRP. 84 projects were approved resulting in an ask of 120M USD. The PC intends to do an analysis of proposals submitted and look at how to strengthen partners capacities when it comes to project proposals in 2024.
