Tenzin leads the Women’s Refugee Commission’s work to develop technical resources focused on implementing safe, gender-transformative, and market-based response and recovery programs. She has experience in cash and voucher assistance, livelihoods, gender, and community development, and has engaged in humanitarian and development programming around the world, including in Afghanistan, Cote d’Ivoire, Ecuador, Ghana, Haiti, India, Iraq, Jordan, Kenya, Niger, Nigeria, Somalia, South Sudan, and Uganda. Tenzin holds a master’s degree in development management from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and a bachelor’s degree in economic development and gender studies from Hampshire College.
