Vincenza Lofino

Protection Analyst

Vincenza joined the Information Management and Analysis Pillar in September 2022 as Protection Analyst. She brings hands-on field experience to the Global Protection Cluster, having served on Information Management and Analysis processes in Humanitarian operations at global and in-country levels; with previous tasks ranging from Database, M&E, Reporting, Communications, Fundraising/Grants management. Prior to this role, she had working experiences in the HQ (Milan), North Africa (Tunisia/Libya), Middle East (Syria, Jordan), West Africa (Togo), and East of Africa (Somalia) for UN agencies, Red Cross-National Societies (certified social worker volunteer with the Italian Red Cross, at Milan Committee), as well as for NGOs and local NPOs. She also brings more than 10 years of experience as International Volunteer in Lampedusa/Sicily, Samos/Greece, Serbia, West Bank, Sudan, Brazil, Uganda, and Nepal. She holds a master's degree in Communication and Intercultural Mediation, and a postgraduate diploma in International Cooperation, Development & Emergency from the ISPI School of Milan.
