Elisa Gazzotti

Co-chair HRE TT

Elisa served as co-chair of the HRE TT since 2020. She works as program coordinator for Human Rights Education for SGI Office for UN Affairs and she is the chair of the NGO Working Group on Human Rights Education and Learning. Elisa holds an Executive Master in ‘International Humanitarian Law in Armed Conflicts’ focusing on women’s protection in NIAC from the Geneva Academy in Geneva, Switzerland. Before joining SGI UN Office for UN Affairs Elisa’s work focused on food security and gender equality in the MENA region collaborating with Food and Agricultural Organization (FAO) of UN in Rome, Italy and United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Amman, Jordan.
